The School of Engineering & Technology is the largest department in SVU. With the rapid growth of Indian economy, the contribution of manufacturing sector has increased its global market share. A critical factor in this is an expectation of success of the technical education system in India. Shri Venkateshwara University aims at integrating engineering courses with other related disciplines.

Engineering courses especially designed for the students who can be pursued in SVU as full time, regular diploma, Under Graduate Degree and Post Graduate courses. In recent years, computers have been an integral part of our life. From work palace to living room, computer is present and has transformed our lives and work styles. They have transformed the way we learn these days. The application of computers has increased at all level of every profession.

Faculties of computer science and system studies are primarily imparting under graduate and post-graduate programs and are designed with the consultation of practitioners. Research programs in computer application examine the current uses of hardware and software and draw conclusion for future demand in the market.

Polytechnic programmers are approved by Board of Apprenticeship Training (NR) under Ministry of HRD and Department of Higher Education Board under Government of India. As per UGC Regulation 2016.
